Paying it Forward with Sun Devil Athletics
Letterwinner support is a pillar of any good college athletic department. Keeping former student-athletes involved after they graduate shows evidence of a positive culture that encourages those involved to give back when they have the means to.
Sun Devil Athletics strives to exemplify this and has made massive strides in reaching that goal of late. At the present, there are 27 endowments supporting our student-athletes that have been started by Letterwinners, with 8 of them having been started since July 1, 2021, the most ever in a single fiscal year with still over four months remaining.
This support from former student-athletes serves 10 of our programs, encompassing hundreds of our current student-athlete base.
"It's great to see former student-athletes of so many generations giving back to their alma mater," said Kevin Miniefield, Associate Director, Sun Devil Letterwinners. "It's the best way we can support our current student-athletes and pave the way for all future generations of Sun Devils."
In the coming months, the Sun Devil Club will be highlighting the spirit of these endowments, a reflection of the philanthropic values cultivated within Sun Devil Athletics.
