Sun Devil Athletics Tops the Pac-12 in APR Rankings
With a firm commitment not only to athletic success, but the academic success of its student-athletes, Sun Devil Athletics recently received history recognition from the Pac-12 conference.
The NCAA recently released multiyear Academic Progress Rating scores. Arizona State University and Sun Devil Athletics posted a school-record 995 for the four-year period of 2017-18 thru 2020-21. The mark was not only a program record, but ranked first in the Pac-12, ahead of Stanford, USC and UCLA.
This metric measures academic success, and was a top priority for Vice President, University Athletics Ray Anderson when he first set foot on campus in 2014.
This major accomplishment speaks to the hard-work and dedication of not only Sun Devil student-athletes, but also the Office of Student-Athlete Development (OSAD), which goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone receives the support they deserve.
