A Weekend of Celebration
Sun Devil Football and the Sun Devil Club love celebrating and honoring those who have helped pave the way for current student-athletes. Whether it's a banquet to honor seniors or a reunion to keep everyone connected and feeling a part of the family, there is always an event on the horizon.
This fall, during homecoming weekend, the Sun Devil Club hosted a special reunion for members of the 1972, '82, '92, 2002 and '12 teams. It was a huge collection of former Sun Devils across multiple generations and it resulted in a memorable weekend.
The weekend was kicked off with a dinner and reception where alumni from every era were able to re-connect and bond over memories in the Maroon & Gold. The reception was followed up during the homecoming game, when the eras were honored on the field.
The weekend wouldn't have been possible without the generosity and partnership of the Fiesta Bowl, who sponsored much of the event and helped make it special. It seemed only fitting as the first ever Fiesta Bowl Champs came from right here in Tempe, Ariz.
