OSAD Story of the Month: Chelsea Fontenel

The Office of Student-Athlete Development (OSAD) at Sun Devil Athletics works tirelessly to provide student-athletes with the resources they need to be champions beyond the field of competition.

Each month, they like to highlight standout performers in the classroom and for the month of March selected Morasha Wiggins due to her tremendous work ethic displayed to succeed in the classroom despite adversity.

The Office of Student-Athlete Development (OSAD) at the Watts Center for Academic Excellence and Championship Life is a crucial, yet often unrecognized cog in the machine that is Sun Devil Athletics. Dedicated entirely to giving student-athletes the resources they need to be champions in the classroom, their efforts have seen the department and its student-athletes reach unprecedented heights in recent years.

"Andrea Lore and her diverse staff have done an incredible job of working with more than 650 student-athletes to continue to stay elite in the Pac-12 in all academic areas," Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson said. "Our Office of Student-Athlete Development (OSAD) has many years of experience and incredible energy, and it continues to show in not only the strong published numbers, but in the way our staff and student-athletes relate and work together."
