The future of Sun Devil Volleyball

When I arrived at Arizona State, I believed deeply in what this program could become. What has happened since is a credit to our student-athletes, our staff, and the support of Sun Devil Nation. In a short time, we have built a championship culture, competed nationally, and proven that Sun Devil Volleyball belongs among the best programs in the country.

Our student-athletes have delivered historic results — conference championships, NCAA Tournament success, national rankings, and a standard of excellence that continues to rise every day.

One of the most exciting aspects of building this program at Arizona State has been the opportunity to connect Sun Devil Volleyball with the broader innovation ecosystem of the university. By partnering with departments across campus — including Luminosity Lab, the College of Health Solutions, the W. P. Carey School of Business, and the Center for Engagement Science — we are leveraging the full strength of ASU to explore new ways to enhance performance, leadership development, and the overall student-athlete experience.

But sustaining that momentum and reaching our ultimate goals requires more than talent and hard work. It requires an environment designed specifically for volleyball — a home that reflects who we are and where we are going.

Today, our team trains and competes without a dedicated facility of our own. That reality presents challenges in recruiting, scheduling, recovery, and year-round development.

The opportunity to build a permanent home for Sun Devil Volleyball would be transformational. It would give our student-athletes a space tailored to their growth, performance, and well-being, while allowing us to continue attracting elite talent to Tempe.

This new facility is not simply about a building. It is about creating a daily championship environment — one where our athletes can train, learn, recover, and compete at the highest level. It is about giving them a place that matches their commitment and reflects the pride of this university.

The trajectory of Sun Devil Volleyball has changed dramatically, and we are just getting started. With the right resources, we can continue to push the boundaries of what this program can achieve and cement Arizona State as a destination for the best volleyball student-athletes in the nation.

Thank you for believing in our vision and investing in the future of Sun Devil Volleyball.

A performance need

Tempe needs a volleyball training facility on campus. This facility will ensure year-round conditioning, reduces injury risks, and will attract top recruits. With growing demand for elite programs and community engagement, this investment is vital for player development, competitive success, and activating the valley.

This project represents more than a building—it is a commitment to the future of Sun Devil Volleyball, our student-athletes, and our community. By investing in this facility, you are directly shaping the next generation of champions, strengthening our ability to recruit elite talent, and creating a home that unites Sun Devils for years to come.

This state-of-the-art facility will transform how our student-athletes train, prepare, and compete.
